Our photographic journey is deeply rooted in the rugged terrains and ethereal beauty of Iceland. Living on this island all our lives, we’ve become one with the raw elements—embracing the crisp mountain air, enduring hours of relentless rain, and carefully navigating the mystic lava fields. Perfection in appearance has long been traded for the authentic charm of windswept hair and the rugged allure of the natural look.

Our Philosophy

The three cores of our philosophy are based around honesty, nature and love.

Our photoshoots take place in real life environments with natural light. That means that they often feel like real life; messy, imperfect and raw. By embracing this and staying clear from creating a sterile environment of perfection we are creating from an honest place, creating images with heart, capturing how it felt.

We are big fans of the in-between, the unplanned moments. The moments that happen when moving from one place to another, when you are lost in admiring the landscapes, when you burst out laughing making fun of each other. The quirks and imperfections that make you, you.

Authenticity with Aesthetics

We are just two mad souls that met by chance on a messy, chaotic night years ago and have since crafted a life together. Going against the grain and forgoing traditions to live a creative life. For the past decade we have made it our mission to study and capture light & love in a frantic dance with the madness that is Iceland.

We were highly unlikely candidates to become wedding photographers and would never claim to be experts on bridal fashion or wedding trends, but we make up for it by having an innate sense of the weather patterns over this dramatic island and can predict an impending rain shower with uncanny accuracy.

What drew us in were the unfiltered raw emotions amidst the rough and ethereal landscapes of our island that mixed together in a whirlwind of human and natural elements. We strive to let the true moments shine—raw, unfiltered, and real. Our approach shuns elaborate posing and stylised settings in favor of genuine expressions and spontaneous emotions.

Our years of experience in wedding photography have honed our skills, not just behind the lens, but in connecting with people on a profound level. We believe in the power of simplicity in our photography—it’s all about capturing the human connection.

With NATURE

Nature is at the core of everything we do and we have formed a special bond with our island over the years. Our work is not just about inspiring awe with jaw dropping landscapes but also to bring awareness to the importance of our natural world and allow people to feel a deeper, more personal connection to it. Nature is not just a backdrop for social media worthy images, it’s a vital and important part of our lives, something we should respect and try our best to preserve. But at the same time we don’t look at it as a museum where you can only look and not touch, we think it’s important to connect with it through play and other interactions, to find that primal part of ourselves that loves being free and running around in the wild.
