Our “Quiet Directing” also makes our couples feel at ease during our photoshoots, feeling safe to drop all their guards and masks and let their true character and personality shine through. Creating images that look effortlessly natural but also makes the whole process less of a daunting task and more of a fun challenge to tackle and come out stronger, braver and more self-assured on the other side of it.
How Our Elopement Photography Works
This is a collaboration and we become a team from the minute you send us an inquiry. First we’ll find a date that works with your travel itinerary and our shooting schedule. Then we are on to the good stuff where we merge our visions and brainstorm ideas, mood, feel, locations and timeline. Here you can take full advantage of all the knowledge we have accumulated over the years and we make a bullet proof but highly flexible plan to get the most out of our time together.
When you arrive in Iceland we will meet up in person to go over final details and more importantly; become friends. So that on the day of your elopement all there is left to do is run around like crazy with your new local friends in beautiful nature and intense weather, creating beautiful core memories and meaningful art out of the chaos. This will be a raw, wild and organic experience and there is no way of knowing where the road or the inspiration will take us but no matter where we end up, it will be glorious!
After the shoot, we carefully curate and edit a story out of your day, imbuing it with even more character & feeling, while keeping everything authentic & honest. You will receive a gallery of beautifully edited images that tell your story, ready to be cherished for a lifetime and shared with friends and family instantly.
