"Should we just take off and get married in the middle of nowhere in Iceland" was a joke passed around between Pirmin and Sofia while planning their more traditional wedding in Finland. The task was complicated with family members spread around the world and being perfectionists, planning their perfect wedding day was proofing to be nerve racking. So one night they sat down and had a talk about what getting married actually meant for them and realised that maybe their joke wasn't a joke at all. And when they then stumbled upon a dress at an alpaca farm in the middle of nowhere in Finland, a dress that was warm, minimalistic and perfect for the harsh conditions of Iceland there was no going back. We then got the honour to document and be the only guests on what proofed to be their perfect wedding day. After just spending a few minutes with these amazing people we felt like we had know them for years which made everything so easy going and effortless on a day that was full of these small serendipitous moments that put together practically scream at you that this was always meant to be. When we asked them what their favourite moment of the day was they said "The whole day itself, being so comfortable, relaxed, in love and happy is something that we will never forget and that feeling we want to treasure." We hope these images provoke those same feelings in everyone that looks through them.
