Iceland Photographer // To the Forrest and Back

During our easter holiday we went to the east coast of Iceland. Styrmir's mother lives in a place called Hallormsstaður that is about 10 or 12 hour drive from Reykjavík. We of course had our cameras with us and decided to do an "our story" of the journey. The images below are taken on the road to Hallormsstaður, from our stay there and on our way home.

Heiðdís Guðbjörg Gunnarsdóttir

Heiðdís Guðbjörg Gunnarsdóttir is a 21 year old photographer, born and raised in Iceland. If you think all Icelandic photography revolves around landscape you couldn't be more wrong. Nothing gives Heiðdís more joy than photographing people. Her favorite photo subjects are fashion, weddings and portraits but she likes venturing into still life photography. Heiðdís has been shooting with the camera since she was small but serious interest started forming when she was 17 and bought her first "real" camera. She is now finishing a degree in photography from Technical College Reykjavík.
