Summer in Iceland is our favourite season, for a short time each year this cold rock in the north Atlantic is transformed into a green oasis. An island filled with all kinds of birds singing not just the lonely croak of the ravens, you can hear the wind rustling through the leaves of trees instead of it howling on the rocks, feeling the sun warming your bare skin instead of the frost biting your cheeks. And sometimes the rain actually comes straight down instead of from the side like usual.
Last summer we spend one of these glorious warm summer days in the company of Kevin and Season road tripping around the Snæfellsnes Peninsula seeing everything it has to offer. Roaming around waterfalls, exploring mountain tops with breathtaking views and strolling on the sea cliffs of Arnarstapi.
