When the sand had claimed our socks and the wind had kissed our cheeks, we jumped in the car and chased the last light toward Skógafoss.
A quick outfit change, a few deep breaths, and we stepped into the mist. The waterfall roared, and the couple danced. They laughed, they got soaked, and by the time we called it a wrap, we were all shivering and grinning like we’d just survived some small beautiful storm.
