There is something very intimate and personal about covering elopements. During the ceremony It’s usually just the bride and the groom with a priest and then us hiding behind our cameras trying to click the shutter as quietly as we possibly can, only to hear it echo through an empty church. But this level of intimacy also gives us a very good opportunity to get to know the couple very well and when they are as awesome, fun and kind as Jessica and Jared we know we are in for an adventure.
This adventure started in a church just outside Reykjavík and then took us through lava fields, snow, black sand, a lighthouse and even inside a waterfall.
